Thermolite Injected Polystyrene Panels Description Thermolite is a closed cell expanded polystyrene panels made by the injection process. Thermolite has very low water absorption and good thermal insulation properties with high compressive and flexural strength Application Thermolite is mainly using for roof, wall and floor insulation for buildings, warehouses and cold storages. Thermolite has the power to protect the heat & cold and used for any roof structure. Thermolite recommended to any application required better thermal insulation for any roof structure. Chemical resistance Chemical resistance of Thermolite is very much of the same as that of polystyrene. However, Thermolite is resistant to water and aqueous solution of salts, most acids and alkalis. Bonding Thermolite with emulsion or contact adhesive and bitumen will not affect its physical properties. Installation Thermolite can be worked with conventional wood working tools. The panels could be bound together with hot bitumen, dispersion – type structural or special adhesive. Instruction for use and safety precautions relating to the adhesive must be observed
